Moroccan Rugs
For centuries, Moroccan rugs have been inspired by the evolution of the world, joys and pains. They are mentioned in chronicles written in the Merinidian Period (in the second half of the XIIIth century). Rugs are considered as precious furniture in palaces, sacred spaces and mausoleums. Moreover, Moroccan people consider rugs to be sophisticated gifts they can offer to special people. A rug is an important part of the bride-trousseau as well.
